Views through narrow openings, encounters on the street and shorelines reflected in water.

Street photography
On the Streets of New York
I spent a week in New York exploring Manhattan on foot. The photographs alternate between views looking up at skyscrapers and brief scenes on sidewalks, at crossings and on the subway.

Through the Gaps
Light through a door, eyes between roof tiles and a face in a blurred circle. In each photograph, a small opening determines how much of the scene we see.

Along the Walls
A sloping façade, a sharp shadow on the pavement and people noticed in passing. The series moves from the lines of the city toward the faces within it.

On the Far Shore
Three views across the water. The shore sits just above the surface in one, doubles in the reflections in another and gives way to the sky in the last.
